A Doncaster-based tech company has been named among the fastest-growing in Europe,  earning a spot in the Financial Times’ top 10 list.

Automated Analytics, founded by Doncaster entrepreneur Mark Taylor, has been ranked the 8th fastest-growing tech company in Europe,  a huge leap from their 818th place ranking in 2024.

The business, which humbly began at Mark’s kitchen table in Sprotbrough back in 2013, has now grown into a globally trusted AI company serving more than 4,000 clients worldwide.

Speaking about the milestone, CEO Mark Taylor said: “I’m really proud to be based in Doncaster. We could have picked anywhere in the world, but we’ve chosen to stay here; it’s my home.”

“I really want to push Doncaster as an entity. If I can set up my business here, why can’t anyone else?”

Built on the belief that artificial intelligence can be used positively within business operations, Automated Analytics has gone on to work with major global brands, including Pizza Hut and Dyno-Rod.

Mark initially built the company alone, raising funding himself and growing the business from the ground up in Doncaster.

Today, he leads a team of 25, with the majority of staff based locally in the city.

He continues to invest in Doncaster talent, with plans to bring even more local developers into the business.

“My favourite thing about my job is nurturing and coaching our staff,” he added.

The company is also set to move into the new Gateway One AI tech hub on Trafford Way in Doncaster city centre, another major boost for the town’s growing digital sector.

It’s a milestone moment not just for the business, but for Doncaster,  as the city continues to establish itself in the UK’s tech scene.
