Doncaster’s very first dedicated padel club has just opened its doors in the heart of the city.

Padel fans, this one’s for you.

Padel Master is the newest addition to Doncaster’s growing health and fitness scene, and the people have been waiting for this one.

The brand new venue features six indoor doubles courts and two indoor single courts, making it one of the largest competition standards clubs in the UK.

The club say their mission is simple: create a premium and welcoming padel experience, where people can play, socialise, and connect with other like-minded players across the city.

And with plans to expand into more locations in the future, this is just the start for Padel Master.

“It is a relaxed space to play, meet new people, move your body, and be part of something that feels real,” said a spokesperson from the club.

“Whether you are brand new to padel or you already play every week, you are welcome here. Come in with a smile, leave with a bigger one!”

What is Padel?

If you have somehow missed the padel craze sweeping the UK in the last year, here’s the rundown.

Padel is a fast-paced racket sport played in doubles, combining elements of tennis and squash. It is played on an enclosed court smaller than a tennis court, making rallies longer and games more social.

Interest in padel across the UK has skyrocketed, with search demand increasing by over 165% in the past year alone.

It’s easy to learn, suitable for all ages and abilities, and incredibly fun to play.

Which explains why it’s now one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

It was only a matter of time before someone filled the padel-shaped gap in Doncaster.

More than just courts

Alongside casual games with friends, Padel Master will also be offering coaching sessions, social events and community activities, helping to build a real sporting community in the city.

It’s exactly the kind of active social space Doncaster needs.

If you want to give it a go, you can check out the Padel Master website to book a court and find out more.

Fancy a game, anyone?
