Here are some of our favourite positive stories from Doncaster this week.
Doncaster’s very own Beau Greaves made history on Wednesday by becoming the first woman to hit a nine-dart finish in a Professional Darts Corporation ProTour event.
The 21-year-old darting star from Donny said: “I couldn’t stop smiling because I couldn’t wait to tell my dad”.

The TikTok-famous Spud Bros are set to open a brand new location in Doncaster, next to JD Gyms in Edenthorpe.

Comedian and 2024 strictly winner Chris McCausland is bringing his one-man comedy show to the Cast Theatre.
The sold-out show will see Chris putting on another side-splitting performance – it’s not one to miss!
The rovers are in great form currently, winning three out of their last five games.
They’re facing Stockport on Tuesday March 3rd for the EFL trophy, with London on the cards if they win!
Local lad Tymoteusz Morawski is cycling solo from Doncaster all the way to Poland, raising money for Save the Children.
The journey will cover over 1500 kilometres, and could take up to 20 days.
