Shawingz is a brand new and trendy chicken shop concept located in the heart of Doncaster, on Hall Gate.
They specialise in, you guessed it, chicken wings, offering over 44 different flavour options you can coat your wings in.
From BBQ and garlic ranch, to a sour cream flavour and even strawberry buffalo, they have all the classic flavours with the addition of some really unique offerings.
We got the pleasure of trying:
The food quality was standout, with the batter on both the boneless and standard wings perfectly fried and crispy. The wings were then tossed in our sauce of choice, all of which were punchy and vibrant.
The spicy garlic ranch was a winner for me – but be warned, the spice level really does build!
There are a lot of chicken shops out there, but what stands Shawingz out is their commitment to personalisation. I mean, what other shop gives you 44 options of one item?

Don’t worry, they also offer a huge selection of Mexican food, alongside lots of other treats.
Think quesadillas, tacos, chicken burgers and even frickles!
Plus, they have a pizza and dessert menu too. The Ferrero Rocher cheesecake and Nutella crepe were the perfect sweet treat after our feast.
For vegetarians, they have a vegetarian burrito, burger, taco, and quesadilla option – so you don’t need to worry about missing out.
The interior was friendly and hip, almost American diner-esque, making for a perfect place to catch up with your friends.
The branch is just the third in the UK, with Shawingz looking to franchise in England after the success of the business in Germany.
The food quality truly was great and at such affordable prices too – Shawingz is a real gem in Doncaster.
